The day i begged,& begging for that day again...

                         Everyday brings us a new colour .. sometimes it makes u as a hero or sometimes it makes u as a joker . Very rarely it makes u fun , i want to share a day tat made me a begger.

The beginning of the day 

 10 am 

                                            Its a sunday,i was in my college room. being a holiday i woke up by 9am,i felt very lazy and had no idea of doing anything . suddenly a bulb glowed in my mind ,i wondered myself "why cant i make it as a perfect holiday???" so i called my friends gopinath and bala and told my holiday plan of going to a beach nearby... they agreed to come with me !! i took my sun glass ( since i am using it for first time) and ofcourse took Rs.100 for my expenses.

Share auto & Coconut Trees

 11 am 

                                            We planned to go east coast road, its about 30 min travel from our college, share auto is the only appropriate way of transport. the road was very narrow and had coconut trees as its side walls, and ofcourse we seen small villages on our way.I explained my holiday plan to gopi of going to any boat house in ECR as it has plenty of backwaters and boating houses. i asked him  " how much do u bring for your expenses ?" he said "50 rupees! its enough na?" .. i asked the same question to bala " wat about u? how much u r having?" he said "nothing machi,pocket empty.." .. i didnt expected this from him ,so i got trouble, i know atleast we need another hundred rupees to manage our plan. godsake i had a friend in the passingby village, so called him and asked to bring some money for me. By the next half an hour i got money from him , finally we reached the great east coast road!

Sun glass and chicken biriyani

1 pm.

                                             The part of the East coast road we reached is actually 50kms towards pondicherry and far away from chennai. we asked the persons there about any tourist spot nearby . everyone suggested us to go Aalambara fort and beach , some 8 kilometers from that spot. we got into a restaurant and  ordered chicken biriyani( only after carefully verifying the rate in menu card) . after finishing our lunch we checked our budget , we had only 80 rupees more to spend. we used to take pictures on roadside one by one( since we had only one sunglass , we have to exchange it) , then started our journey to aalambara fort in a share auto.

A sizzling boating in aalambara beach

3 pm

                                        

       Aalambara is a amazing beach , still hiding its natural treasures unpolluted. there is a sculpture states tat aalambara was once  a harbour during nizam period. you can find a fully damaged fort with only the walls are remaining and u can also spot the pairs enjoying their secret moments inside the bushes. But the beach is amazing and nature fresh. Another important landmark in aalambara is the sandspots that seperating the beach and backwater is scenic beauty.

            

                                               Boating is also available in aalambara ,but the rate is variable.We asked for boating , rate they offered first is 300 rupees , we begged and begged and finally had a boating for just 50 rupees. We enjoyed the whole half an hour of boating and took so many snaps in different angles.  

Farm houses and water packets

5 pm

                                        

   we decided to walk to reach the main road           ( some 4 kms from beach). Eventhough share auto is available we didnt had enough money to spend. The way is very narrow covered on two sides by dense trees. we also spot beautiful farm houses on bothsides, i imagined a life in such houses.. its just like a heaven .

                 

                                           I felt very thirsty , surprisingly gopi had an extra 5 rupees to spend ,so it was a really a good news at tat moment.we bought water packets and had a refreshment and finally reached the main road.

Stupid decision that made us beggers

5.30 pm

                                          We had 30 more rupees to spend ,our estimation was to spend 15 for bus( 5 rupees each) to reach ECR and again 15 rupees( share auto) to reach my friend's village cheyyur. so that we can get money from him to reach our college. we waited for the bus for more than half an hour and felt very very drowsy. I dont know who took tat stupid decision but we got into a deluxe bus whose fare is almost doubler than ordinary bus ,the fare was 10 rupees each and so we have to give what we had the 30 rupees . we stood in  pocket empty condition in ECR.

The successful attempt of begging

6 pm

                                        We need 15 more rupees to reach my friends village , i was wearing a cargo jeans which had 8 pockets. i searched each pocket with hope .. oh god's grace i had 8 rupees in my pocket!! so we need just 7 more to reach our destination. gopi on pointing out a tea shop said" macha shall we ask a job in that tea shop , so that we can earn 7 rupees".. bala too agreed with him , but being a lazy one i declined that idea. i said " i am having an idea! , why cant we ask anyone here to help us?" ... bala said " so... u are going to begg" but no other way i decided to ask help to a stranger( we choosed him ,because he seemed to have our same age group) .. myself and bala went to ask him help, gopi stood aside in hesitation. i weared my sun glass again..here is our conversation..

Me : excuse me boss!! give me 7 rupees !!! ( in loud voice) 

The stranger: what???? ... wh wh why should i??

Me : actually we all are engineering students, we lost our purse , so please help us by giving 7                rupees boss...

The stranger: oh its ok .. ( he gave us 10 rupees!!!!) 

Me: ha thank u boss .. give your mobile number..( again in louder voice)

The stranger: why... ?? ( he hesitated a lot)

Me : hey give me man .. dont get feared...!!!

The stranger: k i will give ( he gave his number)

Me : thats good .. your name boss..

The stranger: vinoth..

Me : k vinoth .. thanks a lot , we never forget this...!! bye vinoth..

The stranger: ok ok bye.

              

                                          

                                        Finally we were safe, we took a share auto and managed to reach my friends village, there we got money from him .

A travel in the dark road:

7.30 pm

                                       Being night we cant find a direct bus to our college. We got a bus to a adjacent town , we were among only few in the bus.The road was so dark as it didnt had street lamps, being night the breeze was cool and gentle. I felt a greater relaxation.

Idiyaapam with paaya

8.30 pm

                                      We got down from the bus in our adjacent town, where we met vishnu( actually me, gopi, vishnu & bala were so close and one can spot us together frequently ) , there vishnu sponsered for our dinner, we had idiyaapam with paaya( Great combination) and parottas , we explained the entire story to vishnu. After having great deal of dinner , again we got a bus to our college and reached by 10 pm. 

 

                                      while i got into sleep,  i closed my eyes and had a rewind on that whole day... my mind said " can i again get a day like this" ..
